“Arabella, let me drop you off at work.”

Hans didn’t expect their private interactions to be so intimate and natural; he suddenly clenched his fist.

“You guys knew each other before?”
“She saved my grandfather’s life at the hospital, and her medical skills were impressive; it left a deep
impression on me.”
Hans had heard about this from his mom; his sister had saved Romeo’s grandfather twice, and
Romeo’s grandfather was so fond of her that he even gave her the crown necklace that symbolized the
status of granddaughter–in–law!
