Chapter 396 The Records of Actual Combat

After this morning, Nathan felt that Gussie was a real talent and he changed his mentality as a teacher.

He wanted to train Gussie in a stricter way and produce in her a master.

After the morning exercise, Nathan let Gussie wait for him at the gate of the villa, and after rummaging t

hrough the house for

a while, he took out a notebook and handed it to Gussie.

“What is this?” Gussie asked in surprise.

“Go back and read it yourself. Think it over

slowly, and ask me anytime you don’t understand.” Nathan didn’t say much. He

closed the door and went back.

Gussie opened the cover and found the title page read “The Records of Actual Combat.”

On the next page was the preface.

“I have practiced martial arts since I was twelve years old, I began to learn their basic gestures by obse

rving their forms and meanings and studying the Eight Diagrams and Taichi, which serve as their backg

round knowledge. When I was twenty–

two years old, I practiced martial arts for a total of ten years and have engaged in more than a hundred

combats of various kinds. I would like to record the most impressive battle among them in this book.”

Julian popped out of nowhere, leaned his head to look, and said in surprise, “Damn… Master is too bia

sed. Junior sister, what

about

you make a copy of this booklet?”

Gussie closed the booklet with a half–

smile, glanced at him, and said, “How dare you call me junior sister?”

Julian felt awkward, coughed profusely, and said, “You haven’t been Master’s wife yet.”

Gussie said, “I’m not sure whether he will allow you to read it. Ask him yourself. If he agrees, I’ll make a

copy for you.”

Gussie drove to the company soon, changed into a suit

of clothes, and sat at her desk to read the book “The Records of Actual Combats” written by Nathan.

“This is too exciting…”

After Gussie read a few pages, she felt that she was reading a book about modern martial arts.

In the book, Nathan detailed the opponent’s boxing methods and the fighting styles he was good at, an

d then wrote how he responded at the time. Besides, he carefully explained his mentality and thoughts

and the flexibility of his tactics during the

battle.

After

a few actual combat records, there were also some of his own feelings and views on boxing training.

“This is the secret book that only the protagonist can get in martial arts fiction! I really hope that one da

y, I can also practice kung fu to this level.” Gussie was amazed and couldn’t get enough of it.

At this moment, someone knocked on the desktop and startled her. When she looked up, she saw Nath

“Don’t read irrelevant books during working hours. With such a high annual salary, you should prove yo

u are worth it.” Nathan said unhappily.

“Ah, I’ll put it down…” Gussie said hastily.

Then, she found that after sitting for so long, her butt was not touching the chair and that she was alwa

ys performing a squat without feeling tired at all..

This surprised her!

Then, she couldn’t help but feel a little proud. Was she really talented? It took only two days

for her to master the knack of

squatting!

Nathan seemed to have read her thoughts and said disdainfully, “It took you two days to master a squat

, which is as gesture. You’re less intelligent than ordinary people, who can master it in half a day!”

Gussie was stunned for a moment, and she suddenly became depressed, saying, “How long did it take

you to master the squar?”

“Me? A few minutes.” Nathan said calmly and truthfully.

Gussie pursed her lips and said, “Julian hasn’t mastered it yet…”

“It can only be said that he is stupider than you, what else can I say?” Nathan shrugged and said.

Gussie sighed. It seemed that she was indeed a bit stupid. It took her two days to master a simple squa

Seeing her

discouraged like this, Nathan couldn’t help feeling complacent. This girl was smart, but sometimes she

was muddle–headed and vulnerable to deception.

Nathan said, “Read it seriously. I will speed up the progress of teaching, and then you will meet a lot of

difficulties. Prepare for

it.”

Gussie gritted her teeth and said, “I will work hard!”

Nathan nodded.

Gussie said, “By the way, I saw Natalie running this morning–

When I drove over, it was only around four thirty in the

moming.”

Nathan was stunned. It seemed that Natalie had undergone great changes. She had lived up to her pro

mise that she would work

hard to achieve her goal.

Nathan believed that the easiest way for a person to change himself was to start by changing his body.

Because it was the easiest to change the state of the body. As long as you kept exercising every day, y

ou would naturally

develop perseverance, and you would not give up halfway when you do everything.

“Did you provoke her?” Gussie asked.

“Quit this bullshit!” Nathan slapped her on the back of the head angrily.

This frightened Gussie, who stood up at once. After

squatting for so long, her quadriceps muscles were full of lactic acid, and her feet were standing on sev

en–centimeter–high heels, which made her lose her balance.

Her body fell forward naturally as it happened in a soap opera.

Seeing the little secretary throwing herself into his arms, Nathan didn’t miss the chance to stretch out hi

s claws to seize her in

his arms.

“You, what are you doing? You are harassing me in the company, right?” Gussie pushed him away with

a flushed face and cursed angrily.

“Obviously, I am willing to do good deeds. I saw that you were about to fall, so I reached out to help you

Gussie gritted her teeth.

Nathan said, “Don’t move.”

Then, he held out his hand.

Gussie was so frightened that she didn’t dare to move, but in the end, his hand just gently brushed her h

it up.

“I didn’t touch your chest, are you disappointed?” Nathan asked with a smile.

“I’ll grip your neck!” Gussie stretched out her hands ferociously as if really to strangle him to death.

Nathan said with a smile, “Practice hard, I am optimistic about your performance. Although you are a littl

After saying this, Nathan turned around and went back to his office directly.

Gussie heaved a sigh of relief and sat down. She felt flustered, feeling like she was flirting with Nathan j

Nathan admired inwardly Gussie’s talent and hard work. He must set great store by her.

For the first time, he wanted to cultivate Gussie not only because of her gigantic breasts…

Near noon, Gussie knocked on the door.

“Mr. Evans, there is a visitor here, it is Mr. Winfrid,” Gussie said.

“Oh? Let him come in!” Nathan said.

Winfrid walked into the office and greeted Nathan with a smile, saying, “Mr. Evans, we haven’t seen eac

Nathan motioned Winfrid to sit on the sofa and asked Gussie to make tea.

Gussie was angry, thinking that she was the secretary of the board of directors instead of a housemaid!

She had asked Nathan to hire another secretary to serve tea and water a long time ago. But Nathan did

She could do nothing but roll her eyes and make tea for the businessmen.
