Dez didn't think that anything would come from the comment. But looking at her... His mind must have

shorted out because she couldn't be thinking of kissing him. Anna must have been thinking exactly that

because she was scooting toward him. Dez's mouth damn near dropped open with shock.

"Will you think less of me if I tell you that I've wanted to touch your lips with mine the entire night?"

Anna whispered as she closed the space between them. Her eyes focused on his mouth.

With her this close, Dez's body started to war with his mind. He kept silently reminding himself not to

make any sudden movements that would freak her out. He wanted this kiss. He needed this kiss, but

he also needed to ease her fear of being judged.

"I think you are a goddess, Anna."

Dez got a glimpse of her smile before his brain was overrun with the anticipation of her physical

closeness. Her soft scent infused him with raw animalistic need while his intelligent side reminded him

that such beauty should be worshiped, slowly and carefully. When she laid her hand on his chest for

balance, a shiver ran through him with such intensity that he had to close his damn eyes and count to

ten.

Jesus, he couldn't remember the last time he was this wound up over just being close to a woman.

He felt the warmth of her lips on him before he finished counting. The jolting sensation of a sweet soft

mouth sent an urgent instant message to his manhood.

(Did I just moan like a teen kissing a poster of his celebrity crush?)

Dez slid his hand around then up her neck, pulling her closer to him. (Hell, do I even care if I sound like

a teenager in heat?) This put him at an angle to taste her better and that is exactly what he did.

Anna tensed up but he couldn't let her pull back just yet. He needed more of her.

Dez slipped his tongue inside her mouth, linking it with hers. By her response to him, he could tell that

she hadn't done much kissing. That pleased the hell out of him. After a few seconds more, Anna

relaxed and even offered him a moan of her own. He was pleased, but he wanted more. He worked on

her mouth as if she had the blueprints to his very survival somewhere deep inside her.

"I need to touch you," he whispered around the kiss. Again, he noticed that she tensed.

Damn it, Dez thought. He desperately wanted to feel every inch of her but if it wasn't what she

wanted...

Just as he decided to back off, Anna climbed up over his legs and straddled him. His hand instantly

found her naked thigh, caressing her bare smooth flesh. He could feel the heat from her core resting

teasingly on his cock that pulsated and throbbed for release from the constriction of his pants.

Common Sense, a pesky bastard that often had him choosing right when he so desperately wanted to

do wrong, tapped him on the shoulder like an invisible obnoxious oaf with his two cents, while Dez

continued to enjoy Anna's tantalizing mouth. Common damn Sense was asking questions that his

inventive brain would ask if he were writing this scene in one of his novels.

(Why would a sweet gorgeous girl such as this allow you-a stranger she just met-touch her?)

(Is she dying?)

(She kisses like a novice?)

(Is she fulfilling a bet?)

(Does she have someone outside waiting for her signal to break in and rob me?)

Dez worked through his internal queries immediately, one at a time.

(I could totally pull a beauty like her.)

(I'm a good guy and not all that hard to look at.)

(If she is dying...who am I to deny this woman her last romp.)

(I may have to draw the line at virgin.)

(Bet...hmmm. Maybe, if she knows who I am but it seems unlikely that she does.)

(Robbery...I hope not. Just got that television.)

A husky whimper from Anna shut down all communication with himself. Dez had no time to listen to

Common Sense's meddling opinions on anything concerning his restraint with Anna. He wanted her-

this-too damn badly.
