Charlie was stunned. Did his father-in-law have some romantic love story in the past?

Elaine snorted disdainfully. She turned her pouty face to the other side and ignored Jacob.
Jacob anxiously tried again, “Charlie has to go with me anyway. Our teacher is wheelchair-bound now,
