"It's really you!" Summer hadn't seen Douglas for years. She didn't expect that they would meet again

on such an occasion. Summer stepped forward and stood in front of Douglas.

In the past, Douglas was taller than her, and now she had to raise her head to see his face clearly.

She guessed that Douglas was almost as tall as Leonardo.

"Summer, stay here and wait for a moment. Now I have something to deal with. I'll treat you to a drink

later." Douglas bent down slightly. He took her by the shoulders and pushed her to the side.

He was cool and calm. Summer could feel that he was as determined as Leonardo.

Douglas rolled up his sleeves and moved his neck before Summer uttered a word. He looked defiant

and arrogant.

"You two come together. Let's make it quick!" The two young men were stunned by his manner, and

they didn't dare to move.

Douglas was anxious to treat Summer a drink. He said to them impatiently, "Hurry up!"

Upon seeing that Douglas still wanted to fight with the two men, Summer frowned and called to him,

"Douglas."

Douglas seemed to be stunned for a second, and then he turned around to look at her. He smiled

broadly at her, "Summer, it's been a long time since I've heard your sweet voice."

Summer paused for a moment, and the two boys had already taken advantage of this opportunity to

attack Douglas.

She exclaimed, "Watch out!"

Douglas regained his composure and quickly dodged the fists. His eyes glinted angrily and he suddenly

became aggressive.

Although it was natural for a boy to be aggressive, Summer could feel that Douglas had changed a lot.

He had been a kind, enthusiastic boy. But now, his eyes revealed that he was not an innocent boy any

more.

Seeing that Summer didn't move even when the three started to fight again, Jessica immediately

walked to her and pulled her away from them. "What are you doing? They are fighting. Keep your

distance from them."

Even if he fought with two men, Douglas still had the upper hand. But in Summer's impression, he was

just a boy. Anyway, fighting was not good.

She turned to the bartender and said, "Where are the security guards?"

The bartender was a coward. Seeing that they were fighting again, he didn't dare to move. He looked

at the door and said in surprise, "The manager comes!"

The manager came over and called for the others to mediate both sides.

However, Douglas was so aggressive that the other people felt afraid and didn't dare to step forward.

Summer didn't count on others. She wanted to walk forward but Jessica pulled her back. "You don't

have to worry about Douglas. He won't invite big trouble. I observed them for a while and found that the

two boys were not badly hurt. Don't worry!"

Jessica was right. Although Douglas attacked them aggressively, he didn't hit their vital organs, but

they would feel very painful. He stopped fighting with them before security guards arrived.

Along with security guards, the general manager also came.

The manager did not know Douglas, but he knew Summer and Jessica. Both of them had a good

relationship with his boss and now they were on Douglas’ side.

Although the manager called the police, he tried to smooth things over. So Douglas just made

statement at the police station as a mere formality.

When Douglas, Summer and Jessica went out from the police station, they saw Carl hurriedly pull over

his car, got off and ran towards where they were.

There might be something on his mind, and he didn't see them three until he got close.

Upon seeing them, Carl looked at them carefully one by one. Finally, he snapped his gaze back to

Jessica and walked straight to them.

"Are you alright?" Carl asked. He sized them up and then looked at Douglas, "When did you come

back?"

Douglas smiled, "When the school's out."

He put his hands in his pockets. Today he wore a hoodie and a down jacket, just like an ordinary

college student, a very enthusiastic one.

"Good that you are okay. You go explain to your cousin what happened yourself." Carl was not a nosy

person. Douglas caused a disturbance in the Golden Cauldron Club. Since Leonardo was Douglas’

cousin, the former naturally wouldn't leave this alone.

Douglas looked like he didn't care. "I see."

Summer had planned to go to drink with Jessica, but now the plan was spoiled. What was more, she

witnessed Douglas fight with others and followed him to the police station.

They were in no mood to drink any more. Jessica and Carl left one after another. Summer turned to

Douglas, "Are you going to find Leonardo now?"

"What?" Douglas looked blankly at her, "Don't you live with him?"

Summer raised her eyebrows and said calmly, "We are not living together. We broke up."

Douglas was even more puzzled, "What?"

"It's no big deal." Summer patted him on the head, "You know where he lives, don't you? I will not send

you over."

Douglas touched his head and said with a smile, "Actually, I don't. Why don't you send me there?"

Douglas behaved like a teenage boy.

"Then go find him at the Emerson Group." When speaking, she pressed the car key in her hand.

"Please, Summer, don't leave me behind. Let's go to your house for a meal first. You can't imagine the

hard days I had in school during those past few years."

Douglas said as he shook Summer's arm. Although she knew that he was acting like this on purpose,

she could not help but go soft.

Both Douglas' father and brother died, and his mother was in a psychiatric hospital. These things were

a big blow to the young boy. Summer felt a little sympathetic towards him.

She sighed. She was soft-hearted by nature. "Alright, I'll take you to my home first and send you to

Leonardo's house after dinner."

Hearing this, Douglas quickly let go of her arm and stood straight, "Deal!"

Summer laughed, "Get in the car."

Douglas opened the door for Summer warmly, "Summer, you go first."

Summer walked ahead. She was about to enter the car when Douglas said, "Could I drive you home? I

have a driving license now."

Summer glanced at him. She felt that he was much more sophisticated than before.

"Show me your driving license." Summer stood straight and nodded at him, signaling him to take out

his license to for a check.
