Bloom.
James started to growl uncontrollably. He wouldn't stop no matter what I tried. This didn't involve
hugging him in case he lashed out. I wouldn't think that this would happen. The one man, well two men,
I thought were dead weeks ago. Maybe I was so clearly wrong.
The features that still made me curl away in fear, the weak but apparently strong body, trying to
intimidate the rivals.
"What the hell are you doing alive, I KILLED YOU BOTH!!" James screamed. I refrained from hurtling
into his arms to calm him.
"You can't get rid of us that easily, did you not read that not. I am pretty sure you did, I watched
everything that happened, right from when you slapped your mate up until you woke up in the bed
with..." Aiden was cut off by a feral growl from James.
What was Aiden trying to say? I started to walk away from James.
"Ah, I see you still haven't told her have you 'king'" he sneered, chuckling evilly. What had he not told
me? I felt some strange emotion I never normally feel. Anger and disgust. My mate is supposed to tell
me everything. What could be so important that he couldn't tell me.
"Bloom, listen to me. I will explain all later just, go and lie back in bed.. please," James pleading eyes
moved to stare at my own, I couldn't look him in the eyes.
Still, I trudged back into bed, feeling annoyed but at the same time scared. They are back, my dad and
Aiden. The very men set on mating me to Aiden. My dad couldn't care less about my life. Aiden on the
other hand, cared somewhat but still wanted me as much as I despised him. That's obviously a lot.
I heard the heavy thump of footsteps heading down the stairs, signaling that they had gone down into
his office.
If they try to take me again I will personally kill them.
James.
How could this be possible? No one can simply come back from the dead. Unless... no! It's not
possible.
Walking to my office I pondered that thought. What if I am right, if they really are.
The door to my office was swung open to reveal Blooms mum sitting in the chair. I had already asked
her to meet me here through mind-link, I can mind-link just about anyone being the king and all.
She sneered as soon as she spotted the men behind me.
"What the hell are they doing here?" She screeched.
"Hey, hey Mrs Black..." she cut me off,
"It's Miss Moore now!" The man who was her so called mate growled under his breath.
"Okay then, Miss Moore, calm down, they won't be here long before..." I trailed off, she obviously
caught onto what I was impending, the men on the other hand. They just stared at me in question.
Stupid people. Stupid wolfs.
"Honestly though, we just came for Bloom then we will be on our way," Aiden smirked, showing off his
large white... fangs!
I knew it.
"Hybrid! You will never get your hands on her as long as I live!" I screamed at the top of my lungs,
making sure he got the message. He didn't however seem to.
"Nah, I like snarking you off, so nah I will get her, and yes hybrids. Me and her dear father over here."
He laughed. The smirk he was wearing made his eyes glisten with amusement. I had to turn away to
refrain from shifting. I needed Bloom, and fast. Slowly I felt my wolf Axe take control. That was when I
completely blacked out.
Bloom.
It had been three hours since James went to talk with 'them'. He still hadn't return. About an hour ago I
heard all the shouting stop, turning into screams of pain and dragging noises, venturing down the
hallway into what I could hear were the cellar jail cells. The ones for the torture victims. I knew exactly
what was going to happen down there. Just the thought made me sick to my stomach.
From past stories, what could be made out the strongest was the torture, he was horrid to his victims.
At least I have yet to see that side of him... yet...
What if he comes back in this state. I don't know how to handle it. I would panic, scream. Anything to
get him away from me.
A sudden knock made me jolt up from my spot on the bed.
"Hey Bloom hunny, can I come in for a sec?" The calming voice of my mother and James's mother
came from the outside.
Quickly getting up to open the door, I let them in before slamming it shut again.
My mother was quick to console me. Running her soft hand up and down my back. A touch I missed so
dearly.
"James lost control back there, I told him to stay away from you until he calmed down, even in a feral
state his main priority Is you," his mothers soft voice spoke. I felt tears well up in my eyes.
Jeez, he still loved me no matter what. He had definitely proven that today.
"Wait. Your scent is different almost... revolting." His mother, sage spoke.
I wanted to cry at that until I felt a surge of pain run through me.
Oh sugar, it can't be.
I'm in... HEAT!
