Olive's mother was worried about her daughter, "Can't you go tomorrow?"

Olive Steele thought for a while and said, "Mr. Geve just gave me 10% of the shares today."

As soon as this word came out, the two of them were stunned.

Chloe Malan exclaimed, "Gosh! My dear, you are a rich woman now! Buy me a Prada!"

While Olive's mother frowned, "Why did he give you so many shares for no reason? "

She was afraid that there were traps or hidden stories. For her entire life, she and her husband were

sincere. They did not seek for wealth but the peace of their children and grandchildren.

Olive explained the matter briefly, which finally convinced her.

"Go then, but be careful and drive safe."

Olive hugged her mother, "I will come back for dinner tonight."

Chloe Malan threatened, "If you don't, we’ll throw the drunk in your room."

"If you’re able to lift him, be my guest, girl." Olive laughed.

When she was leaving the door, Chloe Malan said behind her, " I’ll pick up Annie."

"Thanks."

Chloe Malan kicked her butt slightly, "Thank my ass. I am also her godmother."

Olive smiled and went out. She drove Alan Hoyle's car to Angel because her own was was still parking

in Angel's underground parking lot.

Ted Dulles was the happiest when she came back, and he followed her into the office after she greeted

her colleagues all the way.

"Olive, you finally came back. I’ll be exhausted if you don’t."

Olive smiled, "Thanks for your hard work, Ted, I will ask Mr. Geve to increase your salary next month."

Ted smirked, "That will be great!"

"Is there anything unusual?" Olive looked down on the documents piled on the desk and asked

casually.

Ted was a smart lad, and he understood what she was asking quickly.

"Checking. Endless checking! The Industry and Commerce Bureau, the Tax Bureau, the Health

Bureau, and even the Fire Department. They all came like they were the boss, but at last, fled out of

the door. Those assholes. I really don’t know what they were thinking."

"Don’t mind them." Olive just smiled. She did not want to say too much about the event about her being

captured. There were too many problems involved, not just Angel.

"What comes around goes around. Didn’t you hear the news, Olive? That deputy mayor, Qin, he was

caught! Although this matter has not been reported yet, my classmates have received the exact

information."

"Well, he had it coming." Olive was calm.

"Oh right, Mr. Geve said, there will be a meeting at nine tomorrow."

Olive paused for a moment, then said, "Okay, I see."

There must be something to be announced.

There was a lot of work accumulated in two days, but it was only two days, she had this feeling that it

was two years.

Shortly after sixteen o'clock, Alan Hoyle woke up from Olive's bed. Opening his eyes, he was stunned

for a while, and gradually, the memory before he was drunk got back into his mind.

Sitting up from the bed, a frame on the bedside table caught his eyes. In the photo, his girl was holding

his baby, sitting on the grass smiling sweetly.

As Olive's father said, no matter how hard life was, his girl was still optimistic and positive.

He liked to look at her smile which made him feel that it was the most beautiful and moving expression

in the world because it could smooth out all the loneliness and emptiness in his heart.

The room was not big, and it even was a bit crowded with few furniture, but his girl kept it tidy and

warm.

On the bed, there were dolls, including the SD dolls he sent over.

While on the bedside table, there were several books related to hotel management. He turned it over

and found traces of her notes and marks.

His girl was hard-working.

From the ceiling fell down a wind chime, and he reached to it, making a crisp sound. On the windowsill,

there were two pots of flowers, and he leaned over to sniff it hard.

It was good to feel her breath at such a close distance where she lived.

There was a noise in the living room. He went out but did not find Olive.

"Mom, I'm going to pick up Annie." He heard the voice of Chloe Malan.

"I'll go." Alan Hoyle said behind her.

Chloe Malan turned around, "Wow, Mr. Hoyle, you are finally awake."

Alan Hoyle frowned. This woman was addicted to mock her, "Where is Olive?"

"She went to work, driving your car. Without the car, you’ll have to take a bus to Annie, Mr. Hoyle. Can

you deal with that?" Chloe Malan smiled.

His girl was a workaholic. Thinking of that, Alan Hoyle walked towards the door, smiling.

"Hey, do you even know where Annie is?" Chloe called from behind.

"I know." During the meal, Olive asked her father about it, and he remembered the address.

As soon as Alan left, Chloe called Dave Chou right away, "Dave, Alan Hoyle is picking up Annie. Don't

let him make it too easy."

Olive's mother smiled and shook her head, "You troublemaker."
