As Irene turned around, she smiled at Isaac.
"It's important to you.I understand."
"I'm not hiding it from you," he explained.
"It's just something pointless..."

"You've been young before too, Isaac.Maybe you had a crush before—"
"Enough."
He cut her short, frowning slightly just then.
He seemed...angry.

"Do you have another woman in your heart, Isaac Jefferson?" she asked solemnly.
"No," he said, denying it.

Irene could actually understand and accept that, but she also hoped that Isaac could come clean like
she did with Seth.But Isaac had to hide it! Still, as Isaac carried her to the study.
She struggled, saying, "Let me go."
