Lumi’s expression remained unchanged. She cocked her head and gently curled the corner of her lips.
“You’re just telling me about your love story? It’s fine now; when we divorce, you can be with him openly.”
Kirsi took a breather and pursed her lips: “Sister, you know I’m not like that. That’s what I mean; I’m here
to convince you not to divorce.”
Lumi chuckled softly and sipped the rose tea on the side:
“First and foremost, you should know that I am not a person who is easily persuaded.
Second, you’re my sister, but when you married, you kept your relationship so secret that you believed
you could be right after breaking up with him? You were his lover, you agreed not to sleep with him.
“Have you gone?”
Lumi’s words were tinged with impatience and disgust, as if she couldn’t take it any longer.
Everything around her is her favourite decoration, but she is now only cold.
“Or do you think this is a common occurrence in your circle, so I don’t mind?”
“Are you disgusting, Kirsi?”
Kirsi’s face faded as a result of Lumi’s words. Lips are bloody and pale.
Lumi had never said such harsh words, and she had never been willing to say them to Kirsi!
“I understand Samuel’s romantic nature, and I can accept that he doesn’t love me, but I can’t stand your
past. I can’t stand you behind my back. You said you didn’t contact him after we married, so I must have
had a lot of friends before. What happened the second time I saw you go out to social events together?
Do you want to tell me it’s a coincidence as well? Don’t think of others as fools, Kirsi. Do you think this is
acting? Would you like to clear things up because there was a misunderstanding?”
Lumi has never said so many harsh words in her life. Her every word pierced Kirsi’s heart.
Kirsi didn’t think it was a big deal and assumed Lumi would forgive her as before. However, until now It
was only then that she realised there is no such thing as a cheap thing.
Kirsi sat stiffly, her lips white, and she didn’t know what to say. Of course, no matter how she explained
Lumi’s appearance, she would no longer believe it.
“Sister, whatever you think, what has happened cannot be changed, but what I haven’t done, I will not
admit.” Kirsi stated, stood up and gave Lumi a long look. Her eyes were filled with complex and profound
emotions.
