Watching the two leaving silhouettes, Lizbeth commented with a frown, “It’s obvious that those two men
are up to no good, especially the one called Skylar. Behind that hypocritical face of his must be a mind
full of schemes.”
Jared chuckled. “He might have his methods, but I have my countermeasures. Besides, I’m curious to
know why they are taking me to Dragon Island.”
“Regardless of the reason, nothing good will come out of it. Thus, you have to watch yourself out
there,” Lizbeth reminded with an anxious expression.
At that moment, Tommy came over and informed, “Mr. Chance, Ms. Grange, Mr. Grange has invited
you over to join them.”
Surprised, Jared wondered what Walter wanted to see them for.
By the time they arrived at Walter’s room, the latter related excitedly, “Jared, have you heard? There’s
going to be an auction on the ship selling antiques that have been recovered from the sea. As a result,
