doctor instead.”
Patrick could not wait any longer. It was as if Kevin was asking him to be nothing but a puppet by
restricting him from moving and feeling extreme emotions.
As Kevin looked Patrick in the eye, he said, “I'll be going to my senior tomorrow. He's more well-versed
in this than me, and I'll come up with a surgery proposal with him as quickly as I can.”

Even Lucas was feeling anxious. “Kev, you've got to be faster. Pat's life is on the line.”
Kevin also understood the weight on his shoulders and solemnly inclined his head.

Right then, Patrick got off the bed. After putting on his shoes, he checked the time.
