Even though they were only Alexa’s adoptive parents, Terrence had no intention of changing his words.
He knew better than anyone else how important the couple was to Alexa.

Finley woke up early. He changed into a white shirt and looked even thinner and colder.

Then, he got up and sent them to the door.
Terrence was meticulous and noticed the change in Alexa’s mood.
“You worried about him?”
“Of course, I’m worried,” answered she. “After all, if not for me, he wouldn’t have been injured.”
