“Why are you at their place?” Thalia questioned unhappily.
“They invited me here, saying that they wanted to discuss business with me.”
Chuck sounded innocent.

“Three years is not short.”

“What about your company?”
“I don’t care. They can give it to whoever they favor,” Thalia said angrily.

out,” he said gently.
“I can never have a nice conversation with them!”
Thalia was a little excited at the mention of James and Elena.
“They’ve already invited Chuck home. How am I supposed to talk to them?”
Finley’s body froze slightly.

Before Finley could reply, someone knocked on the door.
Thalia immediately collected herself.
