Boris Visited Max

He later rewatched Ziana’s livestream from that day, so he knew the rough route from the western

tourist area to the Scott Family in the east.

When Boris drove along the well-built road towards the east, the surroundings became

increasingly desolate and ancient.

The car was driving steadily and fast.

After more than two hours, Boris drove the luxury car towards the first gate.

The guards responsible for guarding saw the visitor clearly through the monitor and reported to their

superior.

www

“Captain, it’s a strange car, but Mr. Lewis is driving it with Miss Scott in the passenger seat.”

“Let them through! Notify all guard posts!”

“Yes!”

When Boris arrived at the gate, he had thought he would be stopped and questioned, but to his

surprise, he was allowed to pass without any obstruction.

It took him an hour to pass through three gates smoothly.

He was about to arrive at the Scott Family’s castle.

Boris felt a little stuffy driving and opened the window for some fresh air.

The night wind blew in and instantly refreshed his mind.

Boris glanced at Ziana, who was still sleeping in the passenger seat, and involuntarily smiled.

When he looked away, he casually scanned outside the window and suddenly froze.

A large number of fireflies.

Thriving and dazzling like a scenic route.

He had seen such a scene in the Katyusha series of Back’s paintings.

Boris was absent-minded for a moment, thinking of something, and stopped the car.

He got out of the car lightly and walked towards the fireflies.

There were flower beds on both sides of the road with stone paths in them. After walking a short

distance, he saw a forest.

It was a forest decorated with abundant fireflies.

It was just like the scene in the paintings by Back.

Boris was excited beyond control.

He walked into the forest, and a strong sense of familiarity rushed over him.

The trees here, the fireflies here, and the roads here all gave him a sense of belonging.

He must have been here before.

But he couldn’t remember anything.

Boris furrowed his brows, not knowing whether it was because of the dazzling fireflies or his effort to

recall the past, and his head began to ache.

The pain came in waves, getting stronger each time.

His breathing became rapid, and finally, he passed out.

It was unclear how long it had been.

Ziana woke up in a daze. Her eyelashes trembled, and she slowly realized where she was and that she

had come back with Boris.

But there was no one in the driver’s seat!

Where was Boris?

Ziana suddenly became fully awake.

She looked around and quickly recognized where she was, got out of the car, and saw the fireflies. She

pursed her lips and followed her intuition.

“Boris?” she whispered as she shone her phone’s light, walking into the forest filled with fireflies.

Walking a few dozen meters into the forest, just as she began to doubt whether Boris was there or not,

she suddenly saw a person lying on the ground not far away.

“Boris?”

Her heart was pounding, and she hurried over.

It was indeed Boris!

The man was wearing a white shirt with the Vivi collar open, and his brows were furrowed as he

slept.

Ziana’s expression was solemn, and she quickly put her fingers on his pulse.

The pulse was steady and strong. He should be fine.

Then why did he faint here?

“Boris!” she hugged him and gently shook him, “Wake up quickly. If you don’t wake up, I will be

angry.’

Hearing the little woman speaking like this in a daze, Boris felt weak and said, “Don’t be angry, I’m

awake.”

He opened his eyes with a slight headache and furrowed his brows before he saw Ziana’s phone lying

face down on the ground, but even so, her looks were still unimpaired by it.

“Did you do it on purpose?” Ziana nervously asked him, “Why did you suddenly fall down like that?”

Boris didn’t want to tell her about his illness and nonchalantly laughed, “Just joking with you.’

“Is it funny?” Ziana said coldly, “Boris, you’re really boring.”

She let go of him and was about to leave when Boris quickly grabbed her wrist and pulled her into

his arms.

Ziana slapped him, but he held her tightly and pointed to the surroundings, “Look at this, doesn’t it look

like a scene from Back’s painting?”

It was quiet, the wind rustling through the trees and the fireflies dancing in the lush greenery.

It was a picturesque scene.

Ziana felt her breathing slow down, “It’s so beautiful here. I used to come here often.”

She was no longer angry, and Boris’ mood also calmed down as they chatted,. “Who did you come

with?”

“With…”

Ziana’s voice abruptly stopped, and she stared blankly at the forest.

She did remember coming here, but she had forgot who she came with.

How could she forget?

She was almost certain of one thing.

“Maybe with Gigi.” She murmured thoughtfully, “Let’s go, it’s late, and I want to go home and sleep,”

Boris noticed her change in expression, and his gaze softened a bit, “Okay.”

He helped her up and put her in the car. Seeing that she was still in a daze, he leaned over to fasten

her seatbelt.

It took less than ten minutes from there to the Scott Family castle.

As the car arrived, the s*rvants came out to greet them, and surprisingly, Max, Yudel, and others were

also there.

“Hi, dad.” Ziana absent-mindedly greeted them, “Luke, Clare, Yudel, why are you still awake?”

“We heard you went out and didn’t come back. Your mom went to bed.” Max said and then turned to

Boris, nodding, “Thanks for bringing Ziana back, Mr. Lewis. It’s so late now, why don’t you stay here

tonight and leave tomorrow?”

“I also have something to discuss with Mr. Scott.” Boris stated his purpose.

Max smiled knowingly and heard what he meant, “No need to rush. Rest well first, and if you have

anything, we can talk about it tomorrow. Butler, take Mr. Lewis to his room.

Boris looked at Max in silence for a moment and respectfully said, “Okay. See you tomorrow.”

After Ziana and Boris left one after the other, Luke fiddled with his cane, “He came looking for us. We

can’t keep this hidden anymore.”

“Didn’t dad already decide to tell him earlier?” Yudel worried about something else, “Wasn’t Ziana

looking for Edison today? Why did she come back with Boris? Where did Ziana go? Why didn’t she

drive her car back?”

“We’ll ask about these tomorrow.”

“I’m worried that Ziana will make up with Boris.”

Luke sneered and gave him a glance, “Don’t you know Ziana’s personality? After what Boris had done

for the past three years, Ziana couldn’t forgive him that easily. Ziana has a hard heart, and Boris must

suffer a lot before forgiven by her.

He looked at Max after speaking, “Dad, is Professor Charlie coming tomorrow?”

“Yes.” Max calmly twisted his hand, “He handled the hypnosis back then, so I trust him. Boris’ PTSD

has relapsed, and recalling memories from five years ago will help with his treatment.”
