Genevieve whirled around immediately. She noticed that there was a piece of metal shard pierced into
Armand’s back. His back was covered with blood. That made Genevieve realize why she could smell the
stench of blood. Genevieve’s heart ached when she saw how badly injured Armand was because of her.
She hastily pulled the silk scarf off her neck and pressed it on Armand’s wound, attempting to stop the
bleeding. “Patrick, get help!” “All right!” Patrick was about to hail a car when Steven arrived to pick
Armand up. The expression on Steven’s face darkened when he witnessed the scene. Without delay, he
