A moment later, he started kissing her passionately. The next morning, while Armand was still sleeping
with Genevieve in his arms, he heard his phone ringing. Half awake, he felt for hisphone and picked up
without looking at who the caller was.
“Hello,” he answered in a hoarse voice. “Hello?” A little girl answered uncertainly.
Hearing the girl's sweet voice, Armand was instantly awoken. It was only then that he realized that it
was Genevieve’s phone that he was holding. As theman did not reply, the girl's curious voice sounded
again.
“Hello, why are you not speaking?” The girl's voice was so sweet that Armand could feel his heart

Daddy is so silly! Amanda did not expose his lie and replied, “Oh, so are you my mommy’s boss?”
“Yup.” That was the first time thelittle girl spoke to her daddy.

Armand carried on entertaining the girl, but as he was afraid to wake Genevieve up, he got up and

“Because your voice is very pleasant,” Amanda said before continuing, “Besides, you sound so gentle!
I really like your voice.

a cool voice saying onthe other end of the line, “Amanda, it's time to sleep.” Armand glanced at the
