man…” He abruptly stopped, knowing that he’d misspoken. Chuckling dryly, he hurriedly changed his
tune. “I mean, your ex-husband, John. Perhaps he wanted to avenge you, so he had someone
investigate Simon and Sally Morgan. These two rat b*stards want to secure Morgan Group, so they
had under-the-table dealings with the company’s senior management, offering and accepting bribes.
