Sean fell silent for a few seconds. Then, he asked, “Are you with your mother right now?”

“Yeah, she’s come to me for help,” Ian replied right away without hiding anything.

Sean’s tone of voice didn’t change, nor did he show any so-called resentment at the mention of Aurora.

“That’s fine. Now that you’re doing well, she’ll have someone to depend on for support.”

Ian didn’t want to talk about Aurora with Sean, so he merely told Sean to avoid the reporters as much

as possible if he ran into them. The reporters in show business loved to fan the flames. If Sean

answered any of their questions, his answers would easily be interpreted as something else. If that

happened, Ian’s family would probably be caught up in a difficult situation for real.

Sean also knew what Ian meant. He replied, “Don’t worry. I don’t have the time for that. And I don’t see

Ian let out a long sigh. “I’ll do what I can. Now that the matter is out of our control, I can’t promise
