Adina helped Flint walk to the hotel next door to the bar.

Earley, who was sitting in the sports car in front of the bar, sneered and the corner of his lips curled up.

So this was the woman that Duke had fallen in love with, and the one who went to a hotel with another

man behind his back.

Duke’s reaction would be fascinating if he discovered she had cheated on him.

Earley pulled out his phone and continuously snapped a dozen pictures of Flint and Adina from behind.

However, five minutes later, Earley bitterly deleted these photos because he saw Adina leaving the

hotel by herself.

After settling in Flint at the hotel, Adina pulled open the car door and sat inside. She had to think about

whether she ought to go home or the company next.

After much thought, she decided to go to the Winters’ mansion, as the several children should have

already gone back.

She fastened her seat belt and started the engine. The car was driving smoothly on the road. Suddenly,

she became aware of a black car following her, but not closely.

Whenever she drove fast, the car would accelerate. The car would also slow down along with her as

she did.

Adina’s eyes narrowed. She made a sharp turn with the steering wheel, and her car spun around,

directly getting in the car’s way.

She pushed open the car door and exited the car. Her eyes were fixed on the man sitting in the driver’s

seat.

It was Earley!

Did Duke not mention that Earley had left Sea City? Why did he return?

She walked over, step by step while crossing her arms over her chest.

As Earley lowered the car window, his grim eyes fixed on Adina’s face, and he chuckled lightly, “You

certainly have some decent skills, Ms. Daugherty. Even though I was far away from you, you were still

able to discover me.”

Adina said coldly, “I didn’t go looking for trouble with you. How dare you follow me?”

Earley’s gaze slowly drifted down to her collarbone. “The letters I designed with my own hands are truly

beautiful and suit you very well.”

Adina looked irritated. She positioned her phone at an angle and smashed it on the wind-down car

window. The car’s window instantly showed lines of cracking.

Earley appeared unconcerned. “Why didn’t you ask me why I wanted to tattoo an alphabet N on you?”

“I’m more interested in knowing why you wanted to tattoo me!”

Adina’s eyebrows were filled with a cold front.

“You want to know why? Get in the car. I’ll take you to a place where we can talk at leisure about that.”

When Earley opened the car door for Adina to get inside, the corners of his mouth curled up in an evil

and delusional smile.

Adina lifted her foot and kicked the car door shut. “Anyone with a modicum of intelligence would not fall

for your trap twice.”

Earley leaned against the back of the seat and spoke word by word, “Don’t you want to see your

daughter?”

Adina’s heart sank hard.

She bent down, reached her hand into the car window, and snatched Earley’s collar. “What did you just

say? Say it again!”

“I said, your daughter is in my hands! ” Earley shrugged, “You have a choice as to whether you want to

come with me or not. The choice is yours.”

Adina picked him up by the collar and pushed him hard.

She unlocked her phone and dialed Duke’s number, the phone was quickly answered, “Addy, what’s

up?”

Adina listened to the voice over the phone. It seemed to be the sound of the wind, and there seemed to

be the sounds of map navigation on the side. The destination was a desolate place on the outskirts.

She took a deep breath, and asked, “Where are you going now?”

“Addy, I have some things to take care of at work.”

“Where is Mel? Is she with you?”

“Addy, I…”
