“I’ll tell you,” the alluring woman spoke up, “but you have to promise to let me go
after I’m done.”
The woman stared directly into Joe’s eyes, and he agreed without hesitation,
“Okay.”
“You’re crazy! When the boss wakes up…” The skinny man became anxious. He
didn’t dare to reveal any clues, and at the same time, he didn’t want to offend
Joe. So, he thought about bringing the woman along.
The woman glanced at him mockingly, “Do you think he’ll have a chance to
wake up?”

us.”
Sharon nodded without any objection, “Okay.”
Joe brought the woman onto an aircraft and flew to the address she mentioned
at the fastest speed possible.
At that moment, Charlotte had no idea that Joe had already located the hired
mercenaries who had targeted her and intended to go to the meeting point to
trace her footsteps.
After observing for two days, she noticed that since she had destroyed the
surveillance cameras, the mastermind behind her abduction seemed to have no
intention of reinstalling them. They also didn’t seem to worry about her
escaping.
She chose the moment just after lunch, quickly wetted the bedsheets, and found
the weakest part of the window fence to tie the sheets to.
Using the force of a towel, she smoothly removed the fence of a window and
opened it.
Seeing the lush green lawn outside, Charlotte felt a glimmer of hope. She kicked
off her high heels, ready to climb out the window.
Just as she was about to land, a massive guard dog rushed out, barking wildly
at Charlotte.
Charlotte never imagined that they kept a guard dog here!
“Back off!” Charlotte whispered urgently, worried that the dog’s barks would
attract others.
However, instead of retreating, the dog intensified its barking.
Its commotion quickly drew the attention of several bodyguards. They were
stunned by the scene before them. Charlotte had almost half of her body
hanging out of the window. If they had been any slower, she might have
escaped.
“Don’t move,” one of the bodyguards commanded sternly.
Charlotte had no choice but to stay put, allowing the bodyguards to pull her back
inside.
“Miss Clinton, please refrain from any futile struggles. It would be best if you
followed our instructions obediently.”
