Kisa bundled up in her coat and caught up with Peter, eyeing him curiously. "It's late and it's snowing.
What are you doing standing out here?" she asked.
Peter turned slowly, his eyes staring at hers. There was a strange glint in them, one that Kisa could not
quite decipher. It was a mix of doubt, mockery, and sorrow. It was the first time she had seen such a
complicated emotion in his eyes.
She anxiously asked, "What's going on, Peter?"
