MOON'S POV:-
Moon: Where is my brother?
I roared at the woman whose name was Hellenora. I frowned as I saw my Ocean kneeling on the
ground in front of me, showing respect for me. I did not understand why she was submitting in front of
me. I knew Zeus was not around. But I also knew pa had taken his place as he was the most powerful
wolf in the whole territory after Zeus. Hellenora turned towards me and to my surprise, she as well knelt
down on the ground. Vivian gasped as she saw Hellenora bowing in front of me. Vivian also bowed and
I became even more confused. I looked at pa who also knelt in front of me. Ma also came and joined
everyone by kneeling down on the ground. Hellenora looked up at me and smiled like she knew what
was happening.
Hellenora: We all need your permission to stand up again, Alpha Moon.
She said and my jaw dropped on the ground. I glared at her and she narrowed her eyes in respect.
Derek: Moon, you heard her, son. Take the charge.
Pa said but his eyes were still glued to the ground. I gritted my teeth because I hated to even think of
taking Zeus place. I was not the Alpha, Zeus was.
Moon: Rise you all.
I said in an angry tone and they all stood up. I went to Hellenora and she looked at me.
Moon: Care to explain this melodrama?
I asked her in an angry tone and she nodded her head. She signalled us all to follow her. We did as
she asked us. We all stepped into the living room of our mansion. Everyone was standing and looking
at me. I rolled my eyes and sat down. Then I signalled everyone and they also sat down. But my Ocean
did not. I offered her my hand and she finally smiled. She came to me and sat beside me. I wrapped
my arm around her shoulders and then I looked back at Hellenora.
Hellenora: As I said, Zeus has said his goodbyes to everyone. Zeus left this letter in my hands. He
wanted you to read it first, Alpha Moon.
She said and gave a folded paper to Ocean. Ocean gave it to me and I unfolded it. She was right, it
belonged to Zeus. As I recognized his handwriting on the letter I was given.
Zeus: My dear brother, Moon.
My time has come. I have to go and pay for everything I have done. As for everything that was my
responsibility, Hellenora will guide you through. She knows a way to kill Valtor. Make sure you and
Ocean do exactly as she will tell you. I know you will not be at ease until you will find me. But to be
honest, I don't even know what would happen to me or where I would be? It's my time to go to the hell I
have created for myself. Don't waste your time, looking for me around. I am leaving and trusting my
whole territory in your hands. As the Alpha of Dark Moon pack, I announce you as the new Alpha. The
whole territory is obliged to respect you and follow your orders. Don't forget the promise you have
made before I left. Once everything is finished, pa will arrange a ceremony that would be your final
mating ceremony. You are the new Alpha of my territory and Ocean will be your Luna. I don't know
when or if I would ever come back. So this is a goodbye. Take care of ma and pa. And keep it in your
mind, I can die to keep you safe. Because you are my brother and I love you.
I read the letter loudly for everyone to hear. I would have broken into tears if it was not for Ocean who
hugged me tightly when I needed her. Her scent calmed me a bit and I looked at Hellenora.
Moon: What we have to do so Valtor will be dead. And will his death help me to bring me back my
brother?
I asked her and she sighed. I nodded my head as I knew that this all would do nothing to help Zeus. My
grandfather stepped into the living room and I stood up. He nodded his head and sat beside my pa. I
sat back down on the couch and signalled Hellenora to tell me everything.
Hellenora: Let me start from the beginning. As you might have learned everything about you and
Ocean. You both were born mated. You both are inseparable. But Ocean's father, Sam Knight took her
away. He always kept her away from water to keep her away from you, Alpha Moon. He was told
everything when he took Ocean. I was the one who told him that Ocean was not his daughter.
She started and I and Ocean both looked at Vivian. She was as shocked as we were, hearing all the
facts Hellenora was telling us.
Vivian: I never wanted to tell him that. For Ocean's safety, I kept it a secret.
She said and Hellenora shook her head.
Hellenora: You did what was best for you, you selfish bitch. But what I did, actually kept Ocean safe all
these years. It was me who asked Mr Knight to take her away so Valtor would not smell her anywhere
in New Orleans. I told Mr Knight how to keep Ocean safe. My plan was to send Moon to New York City
where he would meet Ocean and they would safely be done with the mating ceremony. I wanted it all to
happen a few months before they would turn eighteen. But of course, your son, Parko jumped in and
destroyed everything. I would have been shocked, how did he find Ocean, if I would not have know
what kind of bitch you really are.
She said and Vivian narrowed her eyes. As if she was guilty for something we knew nothing about.
Moon: What do you mean? Who is Parko? What does he have to do with me and Ocean?
I asked Hellenora in a confused tone. She looked at Vivian with a disgusted face. Hellenora turned
back towards us and started telling us everything.
