small knife, peeled the seeds one by one, and put them in a clear bowl next to him.
Seeing Agnes just standing at the door, Jared waved her over, “Come here, this pomegranate was just
delivered today by my grandfather’s friend, it’s really sweet, try some.”
Agnes slowly walked over. It felt like she was walking on a tightrope, each step was difficult. Looking at
Jared’s gentle smile, her heart ached as if it were being cut open.
