After pondering for a while, Madeline nodded. "That's true."

livelier side when she was around. Outside, he was just a shy and taciturn boy. He only spoke when

imagine marrying someone else and living with them. I like how my life is now. I can go wherever I want
and do whatever I want to do. How great!"
She shook her head and said nothing more. Her brother was still young and had just become an adult
this year. He hadn't realized it yet, but his significant other might finally appear before him in a few
years.
After the meal, Madeline told Martin to rest up, but he asked, "Where's Sebastian? I brought a gift for
him."
Glancing at the time, Madeline replied, "He went to the office, but I think he'll be back soon."
Martin suggested, "Shall I change my clothes and wait for him?"
He looked at her with anxiety in his eyes.
Madeline was the one who watched Martin grow up, so she understood at a glance what he was
thinking. He was worried that Sebastian wouldn't like him.
Smiling, she reassured him, "Don't worry. Your brother-in-law is a kind and friendly person. He'll like
you."
Martin smiled a little embarrassedly. "I'll change my clothes, then."
After changing, he took the gift he had prepared and went to Sun Garden with Madeline. She brought
him to the living room, and the maids quickly served them desserts and fruits. The two then chatted
while eating.
Soon, there were footsteps at the door. The living room door was opened, and Joel's light footsteps
came as he greeted, "Mommy, we're back…"
