With her eyes wide, Freya heard a crisp voice outside the door.
“Radley, are you there?”
It was Danna’s voice!
Freya’s big eyes were filled with caution, but Radley’s expression softened in an instant as he strode
toward the door.
Freya felt her heart sink as she watched his figure.
A strange pain that pierced her nerves went straight into her head.
When Radley opened the door. Danna was standing outside, smiling brightly. She looked surprised
when she saw Freya in the room. The brilliant smile soon turned into a triumphant one.
“Freya, why are you still here after you’ve been abandoned by Radley? Are you not embarrassed?”
Freya stared blankly at the scene in front of her. Just what was happening?

After a while in the dining room, Braxton also came downstairs. Now that Braxton and Isabella were
engaged, he exuded a vibrant energy.
“Mom, Frey.”
The three of them sat down for breakfast. When Freya thought of Jamie, she lifted her head and looked
at Braxton.
“Brax, I introduced a friend to the Monaghan Network Security Department. He should be going for an
interview today. Let me know the result later, okay?”
“What’s this? Are you asking your brother to give your friend special treatment?” Sylvia laughed.
Monaghan Network Security Department was not a crucial department in the Kaufmann Group, so
Sylvia and Braxton didn’t mind even if they used their influence to help.
Freya shook her head, smiling. I believe in my friend’s abilities. With his skills, he can definitely get into
the department on his own. I just want to know the result. I’m not asking Brax to give him special
treatment.”
“What’s your friend’s name?”
“Jamie Fraser. He is Edward Fraser’s brother and a graduate of a prestigious university.” Freya smiled.
“Alright.” Braxton nodded. “I will personally interview him then.”
It would be a waste for someone of Jamie’s educational background and abilities to be in the Network.

Freya thought for a moment and nodded. “Sure.”
After breakfast, Braxton went to the company, and Sylvia went out to do beauty treatments with her
friends.
As for Freya, she curled up on the couch, chatting with Isabella on her phone.

Originally, she planned to hide the fact that she was having this baby from Radley. However, things
didn’t go as planned. She didn’t expect that she and Radley would become a couple now.
Radley had climbed into the Kaufmann Residence after not seeing her for three days. It would be
impossible if she wanted to disappear for two months!
What should I do?
Freya narrowed her eyes. This was Radley’s child, but then again… Last night’s dream didn’t feel like it
was just a dream.
She always felt that the pain and heartache in that dream were too real as if they were connected to
the memories she had lost.
