“Inken is the type of guy I like.”

In the Callahan Residence, Inken was engrossed in Brisa Trujillo’s affairs when a voice from the

livestream playing beside him caught his attention.

It took him a moment to react before he glanced at the tablet. “D’mn it, Freya. You’ve got me this time!”

Freya carried a small bucket back to the beach in a very satisfied mood. She was pretty pleased with

her little act of revenge.

Since Inken had played a trick on her, she decided to play one back.

Meanwhile, in Caltun, Edward was taken aback. Does Frea have feelings for Inken?

In the Council of Elders of the Green Flamation forum…

Heartless Scoundrel: ‘Ink, you beast! Even the slyest fox preys far from its den. How dare seduce

Green Scylla! Tisch. Green Scylla.

In the city of Vroria, Sarah Burgess maintained a serious demeanor as she conversed with Sylvia

Marshall over the phone. “Sylvia, find me information on that child from the Callahan. family! I heard

he’s not in good health; we need to keep an eye on him for Freya!”

In Caltun, only Sylvia remained calm and composed. “Don’t worry, Mom. I know my daughter. If she’s

fond of someone, she won’t be so overt about it.”

Unbeknownst to Freya, her words had far-reaching consequences.

She exchanged all the seashells she had collected at the exchange center, but the returns from her

seashell gathering weren’t substantial. After a day of hard work, she managed to trade them for a mere

hundred coins.

In the evening, she returned to the villa with some groceries and started cooking in the kitchen.

These days, everyone felt a sense of guilt about constantly freeloading. Hence, they would head off to

do tasks by the afternoon, so getting a meal wasn’t a problem.

Just as Freya finished cooking and set the table, she noticed Helga and Riley entering from outside,

with Leah following closely behind.

“Leah, have you had dinner?” Freya asked.

Leah hesitated briefly and stood there, appearing somewhat awkward.

With a disdainful snort, Riley proceeded upstairs.

Only then did Freya sense something amiss in the atmosphere between the three of them, so she

called out to Leah.

“Come over here, Leah.

Freya portioned out a meal for Leah and seated her at the table.

Concerned, she asked, “Why did you come in with Helga and Riley just now? They didn’t give you a

hard time, did they?”

Leah had a gentle temperament, and Freya worried that Riley might mistreat her now that they had

grown close.

Leah quickly shook her head. “No, Miss Kauf… Freya.”

“That’s good. Let’s eat first.

Freya observed Leah as she ate, her mind filled with confusion and curiosity. Leah also carried out

daily tasks, but Freya had never seen her purchase food. Occasionally, she would bring a few packs of

instant noodles to the living room to eat.

What are her coins?

While they were eating, Freya’s phone on the countertop chimed with a message.

She got up and walked over to take a look. It was a text message from Radley.

Since the banquet two nights ago, Freya hadn’t responded to Radley’s messages.

Radley: ‘Leah is Helga’s cousin. Watch out for her.’

Freya was slightly taken aback by the message. Then, she turned her gaze to Leah, who was seated at

the table.

Leah was eating slowly, her eyes slightly red upon closer inspection.

It suddenly became clear to Freya where Leah’s coins had gone. With Helga’s hypocritical nature, it

was no surprise she never saw Helga engage in tasks, yet Helga never seemed to go hungry.

After only a brief moment of consideration, Freya replied to Radley with a simple “Thanks”

Setting her phone aside, she returned to the table and continued eating with Leah.

After dinner. Leah washed the dishes while Freya wiped the countertop next to her.

Suddenly, a female voice with a formal tone echoed in the villa.

“Attention all participating contestants”

After repeating it a few times, the voice continued, “Tomorrow morning at 8 o’clock, all contestants are

requested to gather at the villa’s main entrance. The location is the same as the preliminary round. We

will reveal the topic for the second round of the competition.

The atmosphere in the previously relaxed villa abruptly shifted. They had enjoyed three days of ease,

but their nerves were now on edge.

It had been five days since they arrived in Hartterre, and the entire competition spanned half a month.

In the villa, two women engaged in conversation as they descended the stairs.

“The second round of the competition is finally starting. I’m feeling a bit nervous,” one of them admitted.

The other chimed in with encouragement, “Top 20! If we make it, we can practically choose any

company we want. Let’s give it our all.”

As they exchanged words of support, they walked past Freya.

Freya furrowed her brows slightly. She had originally planned to withdraw from the competition if she

received no messages from Inken the next day.

Yet now, the second round of the competition was commencing.

After packing up her belongings, Freya returned to her bedroom. Holding her phone, she hesitated for

a moment.

Since Radley announced that she would be the perfume brand director for the Monaghan Group at the

last banquet, there had been considerable skepticism and criticism online.

Many believed she lacked the qualifications for the role and would likely be eliminated in the top fifty.

Others speculated that Freya might not handle the pressure and would withdraw from the competition

voluntarily for the sake of dignity.

Although Freya wasn’t overly concerned with others’ opinions of her, withdrawing at this juncture would

embarrass Radley.

It would also negatively impact the brand.

However, Brisa was like family to her, and she couldn’t just ignore her matter.

Freya: ‘Radley, are you free right now?”

Three seconds passed before Radley replied.

Radley: ‘Yes.’

Freya: T’d like to discuss something with you. Can we meet in person?’

Having previously agreed with him to participate in the competition, she now found herself

contemplating withdrawal.

She felt responsible for damaging Radley’s reputation and believed it was her mistake. She wanted to

apologize to him in

Radley: ‘I’ll come find you.'”

Freya promptly replied with a voice message, “No need. There are cameras everywhere in the villa. If

you come over, it will be hard to explain. Let’s meet at the Pink Beach, at the villa where the last

banquet was held.”

She chose a location far away from the production team and all the members.

They scheduled the meeting for 8:30 p.m.

Under the cover of night, Freya quietly left the villa and headed north.

Ten minutes later, she reached the white villa where the production team had hosted the previous

banquet. She noticed a figure standing in front of the villa.

In the moonlight, Radley turned to look at her, his eyes reminiscent of unfading ink, filled with

tenderness and anticipation.

Freya’s heart skipped a beat with concern that he might misunderstand the purpose of her invitation.

“I asked you to come here today because I have something important to discuss with you,” she

clarified.

“It’s chilly tonight. Let’s talk inside,” Radley suggested softly.

Then, he led the way to the villa’s door, entered a code, and the lock clicked open.

Freya couldn’t hide her surprise. “Is this villa yours?”

“Yeah, I purchased it earlier. I occasionally stay here when I come to Hartterre.”

The two entered the villa, and the hall was no longer decorated as it had been for the banquet.

It had a minimalist style with few decorations, in line with Radley’s preferences.

A large, soft white sofa dominated the center of the room.

“Give me just a moment,” Radley said.

He walked to the side and activated the heater. Freya had been exposed to the night breeze for quite

some time, and the comforting warmth of the heater swiftly eased her discomfort.
