She quickly stood up, calling out again.

Maja’s hands started to shake, worried that those behind them will catch up, she quickly grabbed his
hand, ready to run.
But he was too heavy, she couldn’t lift him up.
In her anxiety, tears started to fall.
Through her blurry vision, she heard him ask, “Are you crying?”
Maja quickly looked up, meeting his pale face and furrowed brows, “don’t cry.”
He slowly stood up, and that’s when Maja noticed, his back was covered in blood, the rock he had laid
on was similarly stained.
Apparently, the last impact had him hitting a rock.
His gaze was cold, like a wolf in the woods, “Let’s keep moving.”
They were being chased by two groups, and their enemies had obviously come prepared.
Maja quickly supported him, cautiously asking, “Are you in pain?”

She built a simple rack with dry wood, took off their outerwear, and placed them next to dry.
