“Ms. Darcy, you might as well call Holden right now. I happen to know his number; he gave it to me not
too long ago. If you’re not happy, just let him know. Truth be told, lan’s beef with me is all because I
love to speak ill of him in front of his grandpa.”
Her calm demeanor was chilling, leaving Funfly utterly bewildered.
While Funfly might not have many virtues, she knew how to play her cards right.
She furrowed her brows, threatening, “If you’re playing me, I can haul you back in any time.”
