Silence enveloped the car for a moment before Jenny said, "Thank you.You can drop me off now."
"Aren't you headed for the police station? I'll drive you." Alec replied, not slowing down.
Jenny shook her head.
"I can call a cab."
She didn't want to be involved with Luke, nor did she want Alec to overthink just because she chose to
leave with him.
Alec still wasn't slowing down.
