Jenny remained silent, and Anthony continued, “I followed Alec around when I was in my teens. At that
time, he’d just finished university, and that was when he met Quinn.”
Jenny already knew this; Alec had gone to study abroad, and that was where he met Quinn. But in the
end, Alec chose to return to Clusia, but Quinn didn’t.
“Alec was destined to return to Clusia to take over the Fausts, but Quinn didn’t want to come back. She
felt she had no future with Alec, so she rejected him,” Anthony went on.
Jenny pursed her lips, not surprised by this. “So, what do you want to tell me?”
“Quinn has returned to Clusia, and she contacted me,” Anthony announced.
This time, it was Jenny who was shocked. She thought dazedly, “Quinn’s back?”
She would be lying if she said she wasn’t the least bit worried. Jenny knew she resembled Quinn.
Though Alec had clarified that he never thought of her as a replacement, Jenny wasn’t convinced that
his fondness for her was merely a coincidence. She didn’t care that Alec might have developed feelings
for her because she looked like Quinn. After all, even if they were similar in looks, they were two
completely different people.
