Show Up On Time

After the principal had said all this, Rosalie naturally did not think it would be polite of her to say

anything more, so she just forced a smile. “Since it’s inconvenient, then it’s fine.”

After she said that, the principal on the other end responded almost immediately, “Thank you, Miss

Jacobs, for cooperating with our work.”

He wanted to hang up hurriedly after saying that, fearing that Rosalie might regret it. “If there is nothing

else, I will hang up here first. There will be other parents who will be contacting me.”

Rosalie agreed.

Ending the call, Rosalie looked at the sleeping Beauty note in her hand with helplessness on her face.

“Mommy.” Seeing Rosalie’s expression, the two boys called out to her cautiously.

Rosalie looked down at them, her expression still a little ugly.

The boys looked at her nervously. “Does Mommy not like this theme?”

Rosalie subconsciously nodded.

“Why? Is this story bad? Can Mommy tell US?” The boys were really curious.

Rosalie frowned slightly and her lower lip pulled down awkwardly. “Mommy… will tell you about it

another day.”

If nothing unforeseen occurs, only she and Byron could play the protagonists of this stage play. Rosalie

could not help but

substitute her and Byron’s faces in when she thought about the story now. She really had no mood to

talk to the children.

She could only hope that since this play would be performed for children, the kindergarten would revise

the plot.

Seeing Rosalie’s expression, the boys were even more curious about the story of sleeping Beauty but

looking at how obvious it was that Rosalie did not want to tell them, they asked no more questions.

They just confirmed with Rosalie again, “Mommy, will you still be participating in the anniversary

celebration?”

Rosalie nodded, she looked down at her phone from time to time, wanting to see if Miss Leigh Ann

would say something about the plot.

After waiting for a few minutes, the phone lit up. It was Miss Leigh Ann who had sent a message in the

group.

Rosalie pursed her lips slightly. She opened the message nervously and expectantly.

Only to see a document sent to the group. It was the group list for this time and the name of the stage

play that each group was going to perform.

Behind her and Byron’s names, the two words Sleeping Beauty loomed.

The other parents were also doing mostly fairy tales, but the kindergarten had obviously gone through

some consideration as the themes of each fairy tale were different.

And they happened to have drawn Sleeping Beauty, which represented love.

Looking at the tiles like The Little Matchgirl, Little Red Riding Hood, and so forth below, Rosalie looked

at the two boys beside her, completely distressed.

How could things have been so coincidental that they drew this theme for her…

“Parents, if you are free tomorrow, please come down to the kindergarten so that we can have a class

meeting to discuss the adaptation of the stage plays.”

Miss Leigh Ann then followed up with another message below the document.

All the parents agreed.

Although Rosalie’s heart was heavy, she still cooperated and responded, “Noted, I will be there on

time.”

She wondered if it was a coincidence or not, her reply was quickly followed by Byron’s with just the

word “Received”, which was out of place compared to the other parents’ politeness.

Byron hardly ever spoke in the chat group. The moment he sent his message, it caused an uproar.

“Will President Lawrence also be participating in this anniversary celebration event? which stage play?

And who is he cooperating with?” someone asked curiously. They even boldly mentioned Byron.

They did not expect Byron to really reply to them after asking that, so they went and open the file to

check it out.

Unexpectedly, the moment they opened the file, the group exploded again.
