Steven called Mason over, “Mason, want to race two laps?”
Mason waved his hands, “Nah, you two go ahead”
The horse whisperer led Sugar out, and she stretched her body, her fur shining brightly in the sunlight.
Liam took off his tie and threw it, along with his jacket, to Celeste.
“Who do you think will win?” As he passed by. Liam asked her a question..
Celeste hummed softly. “Even if you win, it’s only because Sugar is amazing!”
Liam didn’t say anything else. He jumped onto the horse, gave a tug on the reins, and Sugar trotted
onto the racetrack.
Steven said, “Since it’s a race, there should be a reward, right?”
“What kind of reward do you want?” Liam asked.
Steven laughed, “The loser has to call the winner big brother. How about that?”
Celeste was puzzled.
What kind of reward was that?
Mason explained on the side, “Their birthdays are only five days apart, in the same month, but Liam
just refuses to call him brother. Can’t believe after all these years, he still can’t let it go.”
