Celeste got off the car.
They entered the elevator when Liam suddenly said, “I was wondering if the rain outside had gotten
any heavier.”

might become unsafe because of the rain.”
Celeste paused, suddenly understanding why Liam kept bringing up the rain. Turned out, he was
looking for an excuse to stay
“Just drive slowly and you’ll be fine, she chuckled inside but kept a serious face, I’m home now You
should go too.”

He thought Celeste would soften up because of his “pitiful” look and invite him in for tea, but she simply
