ringing in her ears, “Do you like it here?”

His accent was a little strange, but it reminded Melanie of his identity and that she could not offend him.

She stiffened her body and let him hold her, not daring to move. Her neck froze as she nodded, “O–Of

“Do you want to...have it all?” Frank asked again. This time, Melanie responded much smoother and

Her only desire in life was to climb to the upper echelon of society, be a wealthy wife, be pampered,
