The corner of Arissa's mouth twitched as she looked at his righteous mien. “You could've woken me
up!”
Arissa was at a loss for words upon learning it was Benjamin who had driven everyone away.
“I didn't want to,” he responded.
Arissa was stumped.
“Here. Have some fruit.” Benjamin brought over a plate of sliced fruits and sat at the edge of the bed to
feed her.
She gazed at him and took the plate from him. “I can eat the fruits myself. You go on with your work.”
Benjamin fed her a few slices before letting her eat slowly by herself.
Meanwhile, Gavin and the kids evaded Darius and William and sneakily headed toward someplace.
“Is it all right for us to do this?” Tim swept his eyes across the others' faces timidly.
“Tim, don't you want to get back at them?” Jasper stared at Tim, fuming in the latter's stead.
Tim nodded. If it weren't for the bad guys kidnapping them, he wouldn't have to receive injections.
“Don't worry. Since they dared kidnap us, we should teach them a memorable lesson!” Zachary
reassured Tim with anger flashing across his eyes.
“We can't let them go!” Jesse's eyes gleamed as she puffed up her cheeks in fury.
Oliver and Gavin huddled together, monitoring the live footage of the surveillance cameras.
“We're almost there,” Oliver alerted the others.
Everyone leaned in, watching intently as a car approached.
Justin, looking sickly, was in the vehicle, asleep.
All of a sudden, the car tire burst. Caught off guard, the driver abruptly braked hard, and the car spun
three-hundred and sixty degrees, almost flipping over.
All color drained from Justin's face as he broke out in a cold sweat from the fright.
The kids observing the situation couldn't help but giggle. Still, they felt it was a pity they didn't achieve
their desired outcome.
Zachary uttered, “I can't believe the car didn't flip over.”
Oliver chimed in, “The driver has some skills!”
Jasper said, “Mr. Hinton's prediction was off!”
Tim commented, “He's drenched in sweat. He must be scared out of his wits. Serves him right!”
Jesse added, “It'd be best if he got scared to death! Hmph!”
Gavin suggested, “This experience is nothing to him. We need to teach him a greater lesson!”
Zachary's gaze darkened. He scanned his surroundings and signaled to everyone. “We need to move!”
The six children discreetly moved to a different location.
Justin didn't figure out the cause behind the tire burst. Assuming that it was just a simple accident, he
instructed his subordinate to change the tire and continued home.
Unexpectedly, right after he stepped through the gates of his mansion, the entire building suddenly
collapsed before him.
Just a few days ago, the house was wrecked by Benjamin and had just been cleaned up.
Now, before he could even step inside, the mansion caved in, causing Justin's expression to darken.
“Who did this?”
His men hurriedly investigated that matter but discovered nothing.
“Mr. Rogers, we couldn't find the culprit. The surveillance cameras were hacked. Could this be
Benjamin's doing?”
“Fool!” Justin booted his subordinate. “Keep looking!”
Justin knew if it were Benjamin, the latter would've done that to his face instead of behind his back.
The children hiding in the shadows heard that and frowned.
Tim said, “Did we cause trouble for Daddy?”
Gavin replied, “No.”
Tim gazed at his brother in bafflement.
“Justin probably doesn't suspect Daddy. Otherwise, he wouldn't have kicked his subordinate,” Zachary
explained.
Jasper took some photos and announced mischievously, “I got it all.”
“Let's retreat,” Gavin ordered.
The six kids departed in haste without being noticed.
However, instead of returning home, they went straight to Julian's residence.
The children procured a bag from some unknown source and poured the content into Julian's room.
When Julian exited the bathroom and saw a room full of snakes, rats, and bugs, he was overwhelmed
by intense fear and passed out.
Not long after, he was admitted into the hospital again.
The six kids giggled while voicing their disdain. “What a wimp!” We haven't even made our ultimate
move, yet Julian already couldn't handle it.
“Even Mommy is braver than him. He was frightened by snakes and mice.” Oliver laughed wickedly.
“Haha!” Jasper snickered. “I can't believe a coward like him had the guts to kidnap us!”
