As soon as they got home, The children instructed Edwin to prepare supper.
“Mr. Whitley, Daddy had diarrhea after dinner and he's hungry again. Could you please whip up some
late-night snacks for him? He needs to fill his stomach as he has to go to the hospital to accompany
Mommy soon!”
A twitch tugged at the corner of Benjamin's mouth. Can they stop broadcasting my diarrhea to
everyone?
“Mr. Graham, have you taken any medicine?” Edwin asked, concern etched on his face as he looked at
Benjamin.
“Yes, I took the medicine at the hospital. I'm fine now. Prepare some more late-night snacks while I take
them upstairs to shower!” he instructed.
He then took the children upstairs to wash up. The children eagerly followed him, scampering up the
stairs.
“Slow down!” Benjamin called out, watching The children dash ahead.
The children erupted in giggles and playful antics, dashing up the stairs and all the way to their
respective bedrooms.
“Mr. Graham, let's have a race to see who can take a shower the fastest!”
“Go for it, Mr. Graham!”
As the kids seemed excited, Benjamin's lips curled up into a smile. “Sure, let's get started now!”
He took a long stride, scaring the children who immediately scurried into the room. Hearing the sound
of their playful banter from inside, Benjamin shook his head with a smile, then headed back to the
master bedroom to take a shower.
Benjamin didn't slow down just because he was having a competition with the kids.
Meanwhile, on the kids' side, a flurry of activity ensued as they engaged in a competition to determine
who could complete their washing up the quickest.
“I'm not washing my hair anymore. If I do, Mr. Graham might even beat us!” Jasper pouted as he made
up his mind.
“But we've been playing all night. It is uncomfortable not to wash our hair!” Oliver touched his hair
gingerly.
“I don't want to wash my hair!” Jesse agreed with Jasper as she was too lazy.
“Daddy always washes his hair when he takes a shower every day, so let's wash our hair too. It won't
take long!” Gavin told them.
Being quite particular about cleanliness, he felt uncomfortable without washing his hair. The idea of
retiring for the night without washing his hair was utterly inconceivable to him.
Zachary nodded in agreement. “Let's wash our hair!”
“Jesse, let me wash your hair for you! Come over here!” Tim had prepared everything and gestured for
Jesse to come to him.
Jesse laughed happily and quickly approached him. “Thank you, Tim!”
Gavin and the others quickly undressed, washing their own bodies and also helping Jesse to wash up.
They also helped Tim wash up as he was busy washing Jesse up.
“Ah! Water got into my eyes!”
“Wipe it away!”
“Slow down, slow down!”
“Bubbles...”
As the children showered, they even began to play. Even so, they remained fixated on their competition
with Benjamin to determine who could finish their shower in the shortest time.
After they had washed up and dressed, they rushed off to the master bedroom to find Benjamin.
As it turned out, Benjamin hadn't finished washing up yet, so they waited on the bed.
After Benjamin finished showering and stepped out of the bathroom, he saw six children sitting neatly
on the bed. Their chubby, rosy cheeks melted his heart.
“Daddy (Mr. Graham), you lost! We're faster than you!”
The young ones were brimming with delight, their semi-damp, freshly washed hair lending an extra
radiance to their spirits.
“How did you guys wash up so quickly?” Benjamin casually asked as he went to get the hairdryer.
“We helped each other wash. That way, we could be faster!” Oliver said with a hint of pride.
Benjamin smiled at his response. He plugged in the hairdryer and dried the children's hair before
attending to his own.
“Make sure to dry your hair after washing it next time!”
“Okay!” The children obediently nodded their heads. They sat quietly, waiting for him to be done.
Once Benjamin had partially dried his hair, he stowed the hairdryer, changed into fresh clothes, and
then guided them downstairs to enjoy some late-night snacks.
The children followed behind him, their eyes sparkling as they gazed at the extraordinarily handsome
Benjamin.
Their eyes were filled with admiration.
Benjamin glanced at them. Feeling a bit shy, the children quickly turned their heads away.
“Why are you all looking at me?” Benjamin's lips curved slightly as his voice became softer.
The children chuckled softly, then promptly scampered downstairs.
Do they feel shy?
Benjamin slightly raised his eyebrows as he went after them.
