"About your papa?" Dominic asked with a frown with his eyes fixed on Athena’s face.
His face was blank, not letting her see any emotions while her face was filled with nervousness.
She didn’t know why she was so nervous.
"Yes, about my papa." Ace replied with a grin, taking both of their attention back to him who was
grinning back at them with a mischievous look on his face.
"What about your papa? Tell me about it.I also want to know." Dominic said with a smirk while walking
toward the dining table and sitting on the chair with Ace.
"Mommy was missing my papa." Ace said with a grin while looking at his mummy who was looking at
him with widened eyes.
"Ace!"
She hissed in frustration, not knowing what to say at that moment.
When did her little boy get so cheeky and mischievous? She knew he was learning all these from their
little group of friends.
She is going to teach all of them a lesson!
"Missing your papa? Why? Was it making her sad?" Dominic asked, his eyes fell back on Athena who
was standing there while fidgeting with her fingers.
His intense look was making her nervous like a newly wed bride.
What the hell?!
"Yeah, mommy is sad, missing papa I know the reason’ Ace spoke up with a thoughtful look on her
face "What reason?"
Dominic asked with a look of interest Ace is a child of less talk.
But his talks are always wistful and interesting.
And he always gives away interesting information which is always fun to hear.
So, Dominic wanted to hear what he got to say because the expression Athena was giving away was
making the situation more exciting.
"I know why mommy is sad’ Ace spoke up and Athena’s eyes widened hearing that and she
immediately looked at Dominic Dominic looked back at her with a small frown
"Why?" Dominic asked Ace but before he could open his mouth, Athena snapped at him.
"Ace! It was enough talking! Take your seat.
It’s time for dinner ‘She used her strict tone at him which she rarely uses on him which shocked Ace.He
looked at her with widened eyes and pouty lips
"Don’t scold me, mommy.I will cry.” He said while looking at her with a sad face which immediately
made her frown because she saw through his act.
That little dude was acting! "When did you become such a drama king? I am cutting your time with your
naughty uncles"
She said while looking at him with squinted eyes.
That made him look at her with widened eyes because his act was caught.
He immediately turned to Dominic for help as he knew Dominic would never ditch him.
"No! You can’t do that! Super hero! Say something!"
He exclaimed with a big yet cute frown which immediately melted Dominic’s heart and he looked at
Athena with squinted eyes.
"No one’s going to punish my champ for anything.
If anyone dares to do that, she has to face me. For thatHe said with his chin held high and then it was
his time to earn her glare and he immediately looked away because she was looking very scary at that
moment.
"I am ready to face you, you are the one blocking me."
She snapped with taunt in her tone which he acted like he didn’t hear.
He completely changed the topic and looked back at Ace.
"So, champ, tell me what were you talking about?" Dominic asked with a raised eyebrow while looking
at Athena. Her nervous expression was confusing him as well as amusing him.
He wanted to know what they were talking about so that it would make her tumble and act like this.
"About why mommy is sad." Ace said innocently while looking between his mommy and superhero.
He wasn’t aware of what he was doing and no one had the ability to stop him.
Athena knew from the look on Dominic’s face that he was not going to stop until h e knew about what
Ace was talking about
"Why is she sad?" Dominic asked in a soft tone while looking at her face to look for any sign of
sadness.
She looked sad indeed but was trying hard to hide it from him.
The thought of her being sad made him restless even though he knew he was somehow the reason for
this sadness
"Because papa is ignoring her."
Ace spoke up while looking at his mommy with big doe eyes.
Those eyes of his were filled with sadness and innocence but instead of feeling sad, they both were
confused and shocked.
Dominic and Athena looked at each other with widened eyes.
Different thoughts were running in their heads but they couldn’t come to any conclusions about what
their son was talking about.
From the look of Athena, Dominic knew that she didn’t tell Ace anything even though he had a little bit
of hope inside his heart.
Also, he has given strict orders to his friends not to tell Ace about it as well.
No way is it possible that the pack members said this t o him because they don’t know about Ace’s
identity being connected with him yet.
They just know that their Luna has a son.
So, what is Ace talking about?
"Ace… wha…what are you ta…talking about?" Athena asked in shock and disbelief.
What has gotten into Ace? From the kitchen, all h e has been talking about is ‘his papa’ as if he knows
him for so long.
Who’s this papa he is talking about? Because she clearly didn’t tell him about it and he’s not someone
to believe something without confirming it with her.
"Wh…who’s you…papa..?" Dominic asked while stammering a little.
Dominic wasn’t ready to hear from Ace that he thinks someone else was his father.He won’t be able to
tolerate that.So, he was scared of hearing Ace’s answer but Ace shocked him by his answer.
