Stacey’s taunting tone made Dominic smith.
It’s going to be fun… He stood there while leaning on the door casually.
His hands were inside his pocket as he smiled at Stacey with a soft smile.
He was looking at her as if he met an old friend after a long time and was going to spend a nice quality
time together.
While Stacey sat on the clean ground with a similar look on Dominic’s face.
She was smirking back at him as if she was waiting for him to come and meet her.
Her usual aura was completely gone where she acted to be kind and soft hearted around Dominic
Right now she was looking like a cunning and shrewd woman which she actually was.
The environment was not tense at all like anyone from outside would have imagined; rather it was filled
with casualness and ‘friendly vibe
"Well, hello, Stacey. How are you? Hope you didn’t miss me much?" Dominic asked with his casual
smirk in his casual tone which stacey didn’t mind at all.
Instead she played along.
"Oh, my dear Dominic, of course I missed you.How are you?" She asked, acting to sound caring and
cheerful but they both knew she was being so far from that.
"Oh, I have been good as you can see.How are you?" Dominic asked, really sounding like he met her
after years and can’t stop to know about how she has been.
"Oh, now you remembered about me? What took you so long to come to me?" Stacey asked with a
small out before she let out a small ‘not so funny’ chuckle, unable to go on with the acting.
"Ah, well, you see, your father’s man attacked me and casted magic on me which is why I was in a
coma for more than one week That’s why I came late." He explained as his tone slowly started to turn
low and dangerous.
"Oh, my really?! I am so sorry! How did you come out of it so fast?" She asked with a sad look on her
face, sounding sad because he recovered so soon.
He suddenly stood up straight, leaning away from the door and walking toward her.Her posture got a
little tense, unable to handle the intimidation suddenly.
But she quickly tried to hide it but it was of no use as Dominic already saw it all and smirked knowing
how he had all the control over the situation.He bent down a little in front of her.
Their faces were almost at the same level but his head was still a little higher than her as he looked at
her deep in the eyes.
"Well, we used magic to cut the magic." He said with a smirk, making her look at him with a frown.
"What do you mean?" She asked, her tone was suddenly filled with tension.
The pretence of being calm and collected was gone Dominic didn’t answer her.He just angled his neck
sideways to show him something.His eyes were on her to make a note of her every expression.
She looked at him in confusion at first before her eyes fell on the glorious mark at the corner of his neck
and a loud gasp left her mouth Her eyes widened in shock, disbelief, anger and at last, betrayal.She
looked at him with accusation filled eyes.
"You guys marked each other! How could you do this to me, Dominic?!" She exclaimed in anger as a
cry left out her mouth, making Dominic look at him blankly.
"Only she marked me. I am yet to mark her." Dominic said in a blank tone while looking at her carefully.
‘Why did you say this to her?! What if she creates a problem at our marking ceremony?!’ Dominic’s wolf
hissed at him in his ""That’s what I want her to do, buddy.I want her to create a problem on that day so
that we can put an end to everything on that day only.We will be prepared completely." He told his wolf
who calmed down a little after that.
Stacey fell into a deep thought after hearing that Dominic is yer to mark Athena.
So, she still had some hope in her heart to be his Luna. She was not going to let this opportunity slip
past her hand.She is never going to let Dominic mark Athena, she made a promise to herself
"When are you going to mark her?" She asked in a blank tone, while hoping he would answer her and
he did.
"On the next full moon night."
He replied with a smink, not saying anything else other than that, "Okay, so is that why you have come
here? To rub it on my face that how you broke all your promises? To cut me and hurt me by showing
how the man I love and dreamt to be with is going to mark someone else as his mate?" She asked as
uncountable drops of tears rolled down her cheeks, without any stop.
His expression darkened hearing her.
"Athena is not someone like you.She is my mate, my destined mate, the mother of the heir. The love of
my life."
He declared with his chin held high to show her how proud he was with Athena being his mate.
Before Stacey could say something, Dominic spoke up again.
"And could you please drop the act now?"
He snapped with a disgusted look on his face as he looked at her.
"Act? What are you talking about?" She asked with a frown while her eyes moved away from him,
unable to look at her.
"The act of being the princess of the South region!" He snapped, feeling angry at her.
He couldn’t believe someone could drop so low to lie about something so big.Her eyes widened
hearing him and she immediately looked at him in fear.
"Wh… what are you talking about?? ……..I am the princess of the South region!" She snapped at him,
trying to sound confident.
"Sure you are! Your father is invited to my ceremony.Hope to meet him soon."
Saying that, he stood up straight, not letting her say anything else.
She was too shocked to say anything else after that and he didn’t even push her anymore as well.
As what he wanted to do was done already.
With all that thought, he walked out of the room and the guard immediately proceeded to close the door
behind him.
He was deep in thoughts after coming out of the room so he didn’t realise his surroundings that much.
He got a small shock the moment he raised his head a little and found the least expected person
standing opposite him, facing him in the back.
"Athena, what are you doing here?"
