Estelle sniffed the clothes again, the perfume was strong, no way it just got there by accident, Luisa
must have sprayed her perfume on Xavier’s clothes on purpose. Norah’s gut feeling was right, the guy
Luisa was trying to get close to was Xavier.
She seized the opportunity to get close to Xavier while pretending to help Zachary with his work. She

Estelle hung the clothes out on the balcony, then went downstairs. As she passed by the kitchen, she

care of her in every possible way.

“A guy was hitting on you here?” Estelle asked curiously.
Norah was a bit embarrassed as she expressed her feelings, “I don’t like him.
Xavier said, “I think he’s quite cool, handsome and polite, seems to come from a good family.”
“What’s his name?” Jonathan asked, trying to get into the conversation.
Norah said, “It’s Adrian Chambers, you should know!”
Jonathan thought for a while and then said, “So he’s Charlie James’s nephew?“!!
“Yeah, that’s him,” Norah nodded.
Estelle asked, “Charlie has a nephew that old?”
Jonathan nodded, “It’s a bit of a tangled story. Charlie’s grandpa had an illegitimate son when he was
young, whose daughter married into the Chambers family and gave birth to Adrian. She still maintains
a good relationship with the James family. The Chambers are all doing pretty well this generation, their
business is booming.”
“So, he’s from the Chambers!” Xavier mumbled to himself.
Jonathan turned to Norah, “I’ve heard Charlie talk about Adrian. He was studying in B City but moved
to University of J City for his master’s because of his mother’s health condition. Apparently, he’s quite a
catch, you might want to consider him.”
“I don’t have any feelings for him!” Norah said flatly:
Xavier said, “Feelings can be developed over time. Some people have love at first sight, but not
everyone.”
Seeing that Xavier kept on persuading her to accept Adrian, Norah felt a bit upset and kept quiet.
Seeing Norah didn’t want to talk about it, they changed the subject.
Luisa seemed to be a bit scared of Estelle, she didn’t show up until they left.
After dinner, Norah stayed to help out in the restaurant, while Estelle went home with Jonathan.
Jonathan had been drinking, so Estelle drove him home.
Estelle kept her eyes on the road, looking serious as she addressed her concern, “There seems to be
some issue with Luisa.”
Jonathan leaned on the car window, looking indifferent, “What happened? What did you see upstairs?”
“She sprayed her perfume on Xavier’s clothes,” Estelle turned her head and asked, “What’s she up to,
do you know?”
