‘He could clear up everything about Donna with just one sentence. How can he act like nothing
Ethan gently brushed his finger against her nose. “What else could it be?” He took a deep breath,
thinking. “Don’t overthink it, okay?”
“If you want to go home, let’s go home. Besides, I’ve recently learned a few new dishes. I can make
something for you to try,” Madelyn said, her earlier concerns replaced by curiosity.
“When did you learn to cook?” she asked.
