They remained with their backs turned to each other, both feeling tormented.
After about five minutes, they each took a deep breath, gathering the courage to ask the questions that
weighed on their minds.

Inez couldn’t help but find his baffled expression adorable. She covered her lips and giggled, tossing
the box back to him in a lighthearted manner.
“You asked me out for a date and reserved this hotel room. You can decide what to do tonight.”
It was clear what she meant–she had agreed to have sex.

box and hid it away.
Inez’s smile disappeared and was replaced by fury as she noticed his guilty expression and realized he
had no intention of making the first move.

The more she pondered over it, the more furious she got. In a fit of rage, she stuck her leg out to
deliver a kick in his direction.
They were too far away, and she failed to estimate the distance. As a result, her foot came into contact
with his groin.
With a grunt, Kieran recoiled abruptly, his hand instinctively covering the spot where she had kicked
him. He stared at her in shock, taken aback by her sudden aggression.
