“Kendrick.” Cynthia smiled slowly.
“You little brat, where have you been for the past two years?” Kendrick stood up and hugged her,
genuinely fond of his cousin. “You went off to have fun, leaving me to manage the company. I don’t

“I went to Jiverton.” Cynthia found it easier to be around her family.
Kendrick let go of her and playfully poked her forehead with his hand. “You silly fool!”
