Father–in–Law? The sheer audacity!
“The last time Cyn married you, I didn’t know about it, and I could not stop it, but this time, I won’t let
her be with you again. I know what you did to Cyn.”
“I was wrong about what happened before. I apologize to you and to her. I can assure you that this kind
of thing will never happen again
Jonathan said, “There is no turning back when you release the bow. Since you have chosen to divorce,
you should live your respective lives well.”
“Everyone will more or less make some decisions that they regret. Didn’t you make some?” Joshua
sald
Jonathan paused.
His thoughts subconsciously drifted back to the past.
Joshua continued, “Some things can’t be undone, but there is still room for improvement in this matter.”
Shirley pushed open the door and walked in, and blurted out, “There is no room for change!”
Joshua looked at her with deep eyes.
She knew that cavesdropping was bad, but she also knew that this person must have bad intentions.
“It’s hard to mend the broken mirrors. From the moment you divorced my sister for your old lover, there
are no more possibilities between the two of you” Shirley’s attitude on this matter was extremely
insistent.
Scumbag!
“I’m wrong about this matter,” Joshua raised his deep eyes slightly, and said this after a moment of
silence. His tone was still
unhurried.
Jonathan frowned. He did not like him.
Shirley did not say a word, but her expression was obvious that she did not like him either.
After a long silence, Shirley asked suddenly, “Do you really want to be with my sister again?
What did this girl want to do?
Joshua did not think Shirley would help him. “Yes.”
“That’s fine. Give my sister all your shares in Neal Group and all your wealth. Then you need to fix the
broken mirror,” Shirley
said directly,
“If you could do it, I could let you pursue my sister,” Shirley said.
Joshua’s thin lips parted slightly, and he asked, “Why must I fix a broken mirror?”
“Don’t you want to remarry my sister?” Shirley blurted out, not knowing what this person was thinking
“I want to remarry, but what I mean by remarriage is that we have a new beginning. Remarriage does
not mean that we got back to the previous marriage, but that we are together again to start a new
marriage,” Joshua said.
“You can’t go back to the past. The rest is a new beginning,” Joshua added.
Shirley felt that this person was too cunning. “You are talding advantage of loopholes.”
Joshua remained silent, looking at Jonathan, waiting for his answer.
As long as Cynthia’s father agreed, he could talk to Cynllila.
If he disagreed, he was afraid it would be troublesome.
Jonathan did not answer.
The atmosphere in the room was so deadlocked that none of the three spoke.
After an unknown amount of time, Joshua said, “I will treat her well.”
Jonathan still did not speak.
There was only one thought in his head now, ‘Why hasn’t Cyn arrived yet.”
It was impossible for him to agree. He already showed mercy by not beating Joshua up since he hurt
Cyn, but he even dared to come to propose marriage again.
“Father–in–law, Joshua spoke again.
“Does Mr. Neal has memory loss? Your father–in–law is not here,” Cynthia said.
