Sasha’s calmness fell apart when she saw the knife. She knew that it she did nothing. Lana would
really stab Lucas due to how unstable she was right now.
Seeing the internal struggle Sasha was going through, Sharon grabbed her hand before she could
respond.
“Sasha, don’t.” Sharon shook her head minutely. Even her normally confident expression had a trace of
fear in it.
Sasha really did love Lucas. She loved him so much that she would definitely die for him. But she did
not want to die here, nor did she want to die by the knite of that crazy woman. She looked at Lucas,
who was also looking at her.
His eyes held terrible grief as well as deep love.
Sasha’s heart trembled sharply, and fear gripped her tightly.
“Sasha.” Lucas was smiling, his voice was amazingly steady. “No matter what anyone says, I only need
you to believe that I really do love
YOU
“Luc.” Sasha was about to speak when she saw his face darken. He reached back to grip Lana’s wrist.
Startled, Lana’s hand pushed forward, and the knite pierced through the two thin layers of fabric,
stabbing into the back of Lucas’ waist.
“No!” Sasha screamed in despair as all rational thought was thrown to the wind. She threw Sharon’s
hand away and raced toward Lucas.
“Don’t come over!” Lucas shouted stemnly. He used everything he had in him to bear the pain while the
hand that was gripping Lana’s wrist
remained unmoved.
The krille was still stuck in his body, and beads of sweat began to form on his forehead. They dripped
into his eyes and blurred his vision.
“Go! All of you, go! Hurry!” He did not know how long he could hold on. The only thing on his mind right
now was that he could not let
Sasha get hurt.
The knife prevented blood from spraying out, but the dark red liquid still stained the fabric around the
knife, gradually spreading out on Lucas’ white suit.
Sasha stopped running, staring blankly at that spot.
Grief, regret, fear. All kinds of emotions built up in her heart, turning into a big ball of chaos and
confusion.
“Go! Hurry up and go!” Lucas urged her with sadness when he saw how blank she was. “Go upstairs
and call the police! Otherwise, we’re
all going to die!”
Sasha was startled back into reality, and she turned back to shout “Sharon! Call the police and an
ambulance
Sharon did not need her reminder, for she had already dialed the emergency number.
Lana, who was under Lucas control, suddenly burst out laughing crazily. Is no use! The ambulance
can’t save him!”
“What do you mean?” Sasha glared at her while clenching her fists hard, her veins popping out on the
back of her hand rather frighteningly.
“That knife is coated with my blood, Lana smiled evilly. “I have AIDS, and I’m going to die.” When she
was saying this, she seemed rather excited. Her dull eyes were gleaming with the light of revenge, and
her voice was also trembling a little because of this.
“I was originally going to drag you down with me.” The “you” Lana meant was Sasha. “But this idiot had
to die for you.”
Lana threw away her mask of fake kindness, revealing her true evil face.
Sasha nearly blacked out, her body stumbling once. Her mind was blank as Lana’s words kept
replaying in her head,
“That knife is coated with my blood.”
“I have AIDS, and I’m going to die.”
“This idiot had to die for you.”
“Going to die.”
