Chapter 1313

‘It was she who didn‘t reply to my messages and blindly defended a colleague who was interested in

her! I didn‘t even get angry at her, but what about her? Not only is she showing me attitude, but she‘s

also not letting me come home at all!

A surge of anger welled up.

Odell gave the bodyguard a cold look, then walked around the outer wall of the mansion toward the

back door.

A few minutes later, Ben and Odell‘s driver both followed him to the back door.

Odell looked at Ben and the driver. While the two pursed their lips and crouched down beside the wall,

Odell backed up a few steps. Then, he sprinted forward, using their shoulders as a springboard , and

climbed up the wall in one leap. A few moments later, he landed firmly on the ground with both feet and

walked toward the house with his long legs. At this time, Madam Carter had long since retired to bed,

and the three little ones were in their respective rooms.

Isabel was also deep asleep. Flint was also sleeping soundly by his brother‘s side. Liam was reading,

but he was always disciplined, so Sylvia did not have to say

anything to nag him. After Sylvia entered, she passed by their rooms one by one to check up on them,

then went straight back to her bedroom.

There was still a fire burning in her chest. She dropped the clutch in her hand, subconsciously walked

to the balcony, and looked toward the courtyard gate.

The gate was still closed, and the bodyguard was still guarding the gate. The car she rode in and his

car were both parked outside the gate. His car door was closed, so she could not see what was going

on inside. She guessed that he was still inside the car.

Sylvia only took a brief glance and went back to the bedroom. She removed the jewelry she was

wearing and went into the bathroom.

The warm water soon sluiced from her head and washed over her body. She raised her face and

closed her eyes. She wanted to let the water wash over her brain to calm it down so that she would

stop thinking about the scene at the hotel.

However, just as she was about to empty her mind, there was a sudden creak. The bathroom door was

pushed open. She immediately opened her eyes and saw the man who

was walking in. His black shirt and pants showed off his tall and straight figure, and his dark eyes

looked over at her when he entered.

He stared straight at her without changing his expression.

Sylvia‘s face turned cold. “Who let you in? Get out!”

Nevertheless, he stood still.

Sylvia glared at him, took the bath towel on the nearby shelf and wrapped it around her body, then

walked out barefooted.

Odell narrowed his eyes.

When she passed by him, he reached out his arm, instantly embracing her.

She pushed him away.

With just a little effort, Odell wrapped his arms around her and held her tightly, not giving her the

chance to break free.

Sylvia glared at him. “Let go!”

He looked down at her and asked in a low voice, “Where are you going?”

She said coldly, “I told you, if I‘m in this house, you shall be nowhere here. If you‘re in this house, I‘ll be

gone. It‘s none of your business where I go!”.

Odell frowned and said in a deep voice, “I‘m your man.

Whose business is it if not mine?”

Sylvia sneered. “Heh. I would‘ve forgotten I had a man if you didn‘t mention it.”

How many days had she spent alone at home with the children and Madam Carter?

They finally managed to meet tonight, yet not only did he not side with her, but he had also been so

strongly defensive of the little secretary behind him! Sylvia got angrier the more she thought about it

and pushed him away hard. “Let me go and hurry off to your little secretary instead!”

Odell did not let her go. His voice also lowered. “Our relationship is that of a superior and his

subordinate.”

Sylvia sneered. “Is that so?”

“Yes,” he replied instantly. She then said, “I don‘t like her. Are you going to fire her?”
