bidding for the projects, and Sherry had been planning for a month now to win the tender. Due to the re

early for dinner, and she wanted to go back to Caprice at night.
Some thoughts later, she said, “Fine. Let’s go have lunch instead.”
Carl was stunned. “Didn’t you just have lunch with my mom and her friends?”
Sherry explained indifferently, “I ate, but I’m not full.”

He even winked at her at the end.
