Sophia shook her head. “No, I didn’t! Your phone was off when I was sitting here. I thought it was odd
that you had your phone in the pencil holder, but since I know you don’t like people messing with your
phone, I didn’t touch it.”
Theo gave her a look. “Hmm, what did you want?”

“When I was little, I was afraid of ghosts because they looked scary.
Now that I’m older, I’m afraid of people because they’re only polite on the surface.”
