Tristan lingered with his father for a while, but soon felt the urge to return to the beautiful lady.
He hadn’t spent enough time with her yet. He could always come back to his father in a few days.
So, he pulled out his usual trick, gazing up at his father and saying, “Dad, I gotta go pee.”
Marcus nodded and placed his hand on the wheel of his wheelchair. “Go on, I’ll take you.”
Tristan shook his head. “I don’t need you to come, Dad. I’m a big boy now. I know where the restroom
is.”
Marcus ruffled his son’s hair. “Sure, you’re a big boy. But I’m not just going for you. I need to use the
restroom too.”
Tristan was left speechless. “Uh… okay…”
Sophia quickly got up after noticing that the father-son duo was preparing to leave. “Marcus, let me
accompany you.”
Marcus raised his hand to stop her. “No need. I can manage. It’s a men’s public restroom. It’s not really
appropriate for you to enter. Besides, don’t you need to keep an eye on the auction?”
Any argument was rendered useless, so Sophia could only nod. “Just be careful, and call me if you
need anything.”
With a nod of acknowledgment, Marcus led his son out of the box. The restroom was a bit far from their
box.
As Marcus maneuvered his wheelchair, he maintained a pace consistent with his son’s steps to avoid
tripping him up.
Across the courtyard, a woman was hurrying along, searching for something.
Marcus glanced over, his gaze narrowing. He only caught a rough glimpse of the woman’s silhouette
and couldn’t make out her face.
Upon reaching the restroom, he turned his attention back to Tristan, guiding the wheelchair around the
corner and ushering his son inside.
Once inside, Tristan looked puzzled. He had just seen the beautiful lady’s silhouette. She must be
looking for him.
How should he distract his father so he could go back to her?
Marcus noticed his son’s distraction. “What’s on your mind? I thought you had to pee.”
Snapped out of his thoughts, Tristan asked, “Uh… Dad, are you going to use the restroom too? Do you
want me to push you into a stall?”
Marcus waved him off. “Go ahead. I can manage.”
Tristan was at a loss. His original plan was to push his father into a stall and then sneak off.
Now his father was ruining his plans.
Sigh…
Under his father’s watchful eye, Tristan reluctantly entered a stall, closing the door behind him to pee.
Now that his son had entered a stall, Marcus relaxed slightly and reached out for his phone.
Before long, he heard the sound of a stall door opening.
Was his son done already?
Marcus looked up to find that the person emerging from the stall wasn’t his son. He assumed it must be
someone else and was about to look away when he noticed the boy looked remarkably like his son.
What was going on?
When did Tristan change stalls? Did he do it while Marcus was looking at his phone? Why hadn’t he
heard anything?
Adrian had been dealing with a bit of diarrhea and had been in the stall for a while. After taking care of
his business, he opened the door to find his handsome father in the restroom.
He paused, naturally assuming his father was there for him, and was about to call out to him…
When suddenly, he heard his mother’s voice from outside.
