Chapter 2619
“Come on, Grandma, we’ve got to get to Mr. Lewis-”
Balfour’s tears had barely dried on Alyssa’s shoulder before he lifted his head, urgency in his voice. “We have to hurry. That guy
found us, so Mr. Lewis might be in danger!”
Victoria snapped to attention at Balfour’s voice, rushing forward to grab the arm of a nearby officer. “Please, sir, you’ve got to
save my dad. He’s still back there, and he could be in danger!”
Alyssa patted Balfour’s hand before turning to Victoria, “Don’t worry, dear, we’re already on it. We've split into teams, and one’s
already on their way to find your father. We won't forget him.”
No amount of reassurance seemed to register with Victoria, though. She looked dazed, and Alyssa quickly had someone help
her into the car, “Get her some water, and let’s move. Balfour, you get in too.”

Captain Aidan stood firm in front of Monkey.
“Looks like we've got ourselves a reunion, eh? How many of you are out there?”
Monkey glared at Captain Aidan but kept his mouth shut. He was always a loner, stubborn to the core. In the slammer, he’d
somehow clicked with Jaxon and had been unwaveringly loyal ever since.
Jaxon trusted him implicitly, his right-hand man.
Expecting a tough fight, Captain Aidan was buoyed by the early capture of this key criminal.novelbin

Covered in wounds, she didn’t know where to touch him. “Daddy, please don’t scare me. What's happened to you? Get up, we're
safe now, we have to go home!”
