Balfour, so I’d rather not make this unpleasant for either of us. This is your last warning. If there’s a next

Noticing Alyssa was gone, Balfour asked Dean, “Where did Grandma go?”
Dean waved his hand dismissively, “Just go back up to keep Ivy company. Your grandma had a bit of
business to take care of; she’ll be back soon enough!”
Balfour nodded, not particularly concerned
“Tell Grandma to rest early when she gets back. I’m heading up.”
Upstairs, Ivy was poring over a script at the head of the bed.
